Age management in Customs Service – myth or reality?
The publication is about age management – essential aspect of human resource management in the Customs Service. At the text assumptions of Program 50 were discussed and activity of customs chambers carried out based on this program in 2013. It contains data on the age structure of customs officers
relating to officers of other uniformed services. On this base conclusions of changes in analyzed area were expressed. In the final part demands of taking by the legislator concrete actions were presented to improve the functioning of the Customs Service.
Publikacja dotyczy istotnego aspektu gospodarowania zasobami ludzkimi w Służbie Celnej jakim jest zarządzanie wiekiem. W pracy omówione zostały założenia Programu 50+ oraz działania izb celnych realizowane w oparciu o ten program w 2013 roku. Ponadto w tekście zaprezentowano dane w zakresie
struktury wiekowej funkcjonariuszy celnych na tle funkcjonariuszy innych służb mundurowych, a także sformułowano na tej podstawie wnioski zmian w analizowanym obszarze. W końcowej części zaprezentowane zostały postulaty podjęcia przez ustawodawcę konkretnych działań, które powinny
skutkować poprawą funkcjonowania Służby Celnej.
